Our topic this half term is Mini Beasts and thankfully the weather is looking better to  enable some searching and exploring outdoors.

Our Butterfly Group will all be hearing about entry to reception classes, and we will be looking forward to the reception teachers visiting and trips to reception classes.

The older children (ButterflyGroup) have been taking part in Learning for Movement Activities daily to promote physical skills and early writing skills. These will continue throughout the summer term along with the introduction of ¬†“Funky Fingers” aimed at developing the physical skills required for early writing. We will offer lots of fine motor activities daily to all children including disco gym!

We are looking forward to planting the raised beds with the children, growing vegetables for the children to learn about growth, discover gardening themselves and hopefully get to taste all their crops.
